The seventh annual ARCOS Conference, held in Mobile, Alabama at The Battle House
Hotel received rave reviews from the attendees!
This year there were 29 individual
utilities in attendance, representing record participation from the ARCOS customer base.
The conference was highlighted by executive presentations from ARCOS, Inc., Dominion
Virginia Power and Consolidated Edison
of New York. These presentation focused on:
- Closing the employee availability loop between Callout, Work Management Systems,
Mobile Dispatch, Storm Management and other systems through integration, and the
operational efficiency gains. - Saving utilities O&M dollars
- How ARCOS supports customer future operations automation strategy
- CAIDI reduction through increased callout acceptance
- ARCOS product development and direction with an emphasis on mobile computing,
and GIS callout developments
Other key customer presentations included company spotlights provided by Duke Energy,
Salt River Project, and City
of Springfield.
Many operational presentations were delivered by customers discussing business intelligence
and analytics from ARCOS,
storm planning, emergency notification, and ongoing training for
employees. The ARCOS Conference 2010 had something
for every attendee regardless of
position and role within their organization.
